All 1:1 sessions are totally private, there are no other gym members, just you and your trainer.

If you have a friend with the same goals as yourself it would be cheaper to train together than separately. You will also have an extra person as well as your Personal Trainer keeping you accountable and providing motivation. This can extend outside the sessions where you will be able to help each other stick to the nutrition and exercise plans. Its sometimes hard to find support from your friends and family if they do not exercise as well, this will give you that person to connect with because they are part of your fitness journey.

They will feel like a personal training session but at a fraction of the cost. Ascend classes will only have a handful of people each time so you will receive the attention of one of our trainers every time while still having your class mates by your side for motivation.
This is also a great place to meet like minded people who you may find common interests that extend to outside the class.

Depending what your goal is, you truly get out what you put in. If you follow the exercise and nutrition plan your trainer sets you, you will notice results within a week.

We would recommend 2 personal training sessions per week but if you can only manage one you will still see great results.

Comfortable exercise gear with decent trainers, not plimsolls or flip-flops.

Yes, there is a council car park just opposite the turning.

High-intensity interval training (HIIT) is a form of exercise in which you alternate between very intense anaerobic periods and slower recovery periods for a shorter, more efficient workout.

No, your trainer will ensure that the correct level of exercise is prescribed for you and your abilities.

We offer training methods to help you lose weight, burn fat, increase your strength,stamina and muscular endurance. As well as improve your cardiovascular health and fitness

Any snacks should be consumed 30 minutes before and a full meal at least 2 hours.

Simply turn up and wait for your class to start.

You can pay by debit card or cash if paying in person.

ype of equipment will vary session to session, you will be using resistance bands, kettle bells, barbells, dumbbells, we have a rig for pull ups etc, wall balls, punch bag, climbing rope and we are adding more equipment on a regular basis.

You will have access to videos, recipes, workouts that are not released to non members, a forum that you can communicate with other members or ask us questions. You will be first to find out about any workshops or events Ascend are hosting so you can book your place quickly if space is limited.

Yes you can cancel any time. As long as we have 7 days notice before you next payment is due out you will pay nothing after we receive your cancellation request. If less than 7 days notice you will pay for 1 further month and it will then be cancelled. After cancellation you will still have access for 1 month following the last payment and then your access will be stopped.

For supplements to be effective they need to be specific for the individual and their goals. We may have articles where we comment on certain supplements but in general if we recommend you take supplements we will add them into your nutrition plan.
